Facelift Surgery
Facelifts
A facelift surgery, also known as a rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure to help improve visible signs of aging in the face and neck. Some things that facelifts help include the following:
- Deep creases below the lower eyelids
- Sagging in the mid-face area
- Loose skin and excess fatty deposits under the chin can appear as a “double chin”
- Deep creases along the nose that extends to the corners of the mouth
- Muscle tone loss in the lower face
- Fat that has fallen or is displaced
- Other rejuvenation procedures that are usually performed in conjunction with a facelift include brow lifts and eyelid surgery.
Facelift surgery is a good option for those who are physically healthy, non-smokers, and have a realistic goal in mind for improving their appearance.
